Multiple Choice

Create single- or multi-select questions with customizable choices and feedback. Multiple Choice items are versatile and work well for knowledge checks, quizzes, and assessments.

Behavior

  • Single or multi-select – Choose whether learners can select one answer or multiple answers
  • Rich choice content – Each choice can contain text, images, or other content components
  • Immediate feedback – Provide feedback for each choice when selected (if incorrect)
  • Check answer workflow – Optionally show a “Check Answer” button for practice scenarios
  • Randomization – Optionally randomize the order of choices for each learner
  • Variable tracking – Tracks selected choices and correctness in variables

Inputs

Selection Mode (Single Select / Multi Select)

  • Choose whether learners can select one answer or multiple answers
  • Single Select: Radio buttons (only one choice can be selected)
  • Multi Select: Checkboxes (multiple choices can be selected)

Choices (array)

  • List of answer choices for the question
  • Each choice has:
    • Choice ID: Auto-generated unique identifier
    • Choice Content: Rich content (text, images, etc.) displayed as the choice option
    • Is Correct Answer: Whether this choice is correct
    • Feedback: Message shown when this incorrect choice is selected
  • Default: 3 sample choices provided

Show Check Answer Button (Yes/No)

  • Whether to display a “Check Answer” button
  • If “Yes”, learners click the button to check their answer
  • If “No”, answers are evaluated automatically (useful with Logic Quiz widget)
  • Default: No

Check Button Text (text)

  • Custom text for the check answer button
  • Default: “Check Answer”

Randomize Choice Order (Yes/No)

  • Whether to randomize the order of choices for each learner
  • Helps prevent answer pattern recognition
  • Default: No
